Midnight Sacrifice

Blood oozing down off the operation table

It belongs to her

On top of this crimson mess of terror

Lies her body

Numb and lifeless

Unable to respond to any living being

Dead

Is her mind

Dead

Is her heart

Dead

Is her soul

A shell of emptiness rests coldly in her bed of eternal slumber

Morticians go towards her

She is neither dead nor alive

Eyes of pale death

Gaze upon what will be her meal

And offering to the gods to maintain her immortality

A product of demons she has become

Ready to feed

Waiting for the perfect specimen for the sacrifice
