Midnight's reality

Midnight,

Silent pitter-patter of a cold rain.

Lifeless cobblestone walls crumbling down.

Silent to the slumbering houses.

Watch as the light gives way to the abyss of reality.

Soundless screams echo through the forsaken city.

When will this battle be won?

Here is the link to the poem on my site: http://sydneynashpoems.blogspot.com/2013/07/midnights-reality.html</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
