Midsummer Something

Gradure lights shine through the seam
As we continue to walk through this Midsummer Nights Dream
Jovial are we who bustle about
And so frightened or enraged to run and to shout
But beyond the stage lies many soft stories
Lovers in life from bountiful quarries
For one there’s the mischievous in love with his Queen
And his magic is his charm and his golden eyed gleam
Another is a young man linked with the Amazon Head
Choosing over all others to stand by her instead
A third is our Thisbe with a strong hearty bond
With a girl so determined nothing stops her for long
Some paths aren’t as flashy as a ring on a finger
But for several others these lovers do linger
Like the blubbering ass who’s found love out a far
And the grand fairy king who’s brought light to his star
And there is at least one other fond love in this show
A mechanic and a story teller hope continues to grow
But for now my dear lovers, I would entreat you to rest
For not much longer do we have to preform at our best
Now take pains, be perfect, and keep a bright face
As we slip away into this Midsummer Nights Grace
