Mighty Me

On a deserted island all alone

No single person not even my phone

But wait all is not lost

Because I have something that is a must

A thing more valuable that most

Something that doesn’t have a cost

This thing is always with me too

Every day from morning till night

And that thing is my Might

"What is that?" you say

It’s something that will get me through everyday

A determination to carry on

No matter how bad it seems that I’m done

So when that rescue ship finally rolls around

There I am a survivor standing proud.
