The mighty tongue

. POEM... THE MIGHTY TONGUE. An ox turned voilent one day, Under a plough, in a swamp and marshy land, As the yoke was irritating its mane Far away it behold a horse approaching, Neighing wildl, angry of its master, It struck itself and ran wild across. They ran to a nearby ferny meadow, Where thousands were choping grass, A herds man with a stick in hand, Struck fast a heifer and lovely filly. Their cry awakned the cow and mare. They whispered to their fellow beings, "This bald, tyrant goon wips us badly, Crushing our innocence". "Shall not we stand for revenge", The old mare said. "Yes, come and hit him hard". A young sheep suggested. All came and ran towards him, the cunning drover climbed a tree, All animals amassed and congregated. Shouting loudly against the men. A brood of hen with their clutch, Then joined in, cackling, cackling. Oxes blow, horses neigh, camels grunt, Wolves yell then sheep bleat,. But, oh! Suddenly they spoke, The way all humans do. For they had vowed, lets not kill, Let be comrades. A bound was signed between the dumb. Wow! They spake now: "Come down bloody pump" A dark wild horse spoke. "Give him to the neck, the tyrant rascal" A Goat exclaimed in disbelief, Ah then the brood of hen, Gathered, registered their protest, "Gone are the days now, you slaughtered us. Just venture to roam around us, Hit not you back, then dnt call us Birds. "Let not not him reign anymore"All animals yelled. The herdsman turned perplexed, drenched in sweat, it screamed Louder: "If you give them tongue then give me death". Alas! A covacious wolf attacked a sheep........! All horses neigh, all oxes blow,. All set to grazing, dumb and deaf. . AFTAB TARIQ..
