Migrant Labourers

Empty stomach and life of indignation, Triggered panic to take hasty decision. All eyes are fixed on migrants' plight, Lack of transports during corona lockout. NGO and society served food and ration, Yet crores hit the road all over the nation. It was a pathetic scene to behold, As the entire world saw misery unfold. Pathetic survival on charity and donation, Lack of job empty bellies and fear of starvation. Without proper shelter healthcare and wage, Uncertain lockdowns and Pandemic rage. Decided to leave metros for homes in haste, To have hundreds of miles to negotiate. Preferred to face Corona than hunger, Many lost lives in violence and anger.

Million labourers reach metro cities every year to work as daily wage earners. Corona lockdown created panic to return hundreds of miles on foot.Subsequently, all but hundreds managed to reach their villages with help from government and society.
