Migration
One feather to flight
One glimmer of hope shines in the light
Fly away –
Two of a kind in this fight
Gravity makes us obey
What is set forth, ironed out from day to day
The mundane.
The mundane.
The mundane.
Waves of color are washed down the drain
I can hear it in the distance
A flutter,
A shutter of something struggling beneath the strain
This monotonous refrain
Fly away sweet girl,
Fly away.
