Mike

Mike is fat;

Fatter than a lazy cat.

He eats all day;

He even eats hay.

He lives in the slums;

He is surrounded by bums.

The river is froze;

So he has to use a hose.

To get a bath;

Everyone will laugh.

He has no house;

But he has a pet mouse.

He lives in a box;

It’s held down by rocks.

He finds his food on the road;

It’s usually not enough for a toad.

There is an abandoned house;

Big enough for him and his mouse.

He sits there and cries;

Until the day he dies.
