TO MIKE, MY BROTHER

I WANTED YOU TO KNOW HOW MUCH I ADMIRE YOU. YOU GIVE YOUR HEART TO EVERYONE, AND IN EVERYTHING YOU DO. YOU’VE GOTTEN ME THROUGH ROUGH TIMES WITH A SHOULDER TO CRY ON. YOU’VE NEVER JUDGED OR TURNED YOUR BACK, AND ASSURED ME LIFE GOES ON! WHEN I WAS READY TO GIVE UP, YOU REMINDED ME REASONS TO FIGHT! YOU’VE GIVEN ME STRENGTH, WHEN I COULDN’T SEE ANY IN SIGHT. THERE’S NO REAL WORDS TO EXPRESS, THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE YOU’VE GIVEN ME. JUST KNOW, I BELIEVE IN YOU! YOUR FUTURE HOLDS GREATNESS, YOU’LL SEE! YOU HOLD A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART WHICH WILL NEVER BE SHARED WITH ANOTHER YOU’VE SHOWN ME TRUE MEANING OF FAMILY I’M SO LUCKY YOU ARE MY BROTHER!!

This poem is very sweet. I can tell your family means a lot to you. One of the first places we start when writing poetry is to write poems to or about our loved ones. For future poems, you can also think of issues that have an affect on you or that are important to you and write about those things as well.
