Miles Deep

I stepped in the cold, I’ve stepped into you

You've set trails of traps with mastered words
often caught, often aware
You've brought death to me
All love lost, all passion eroded.
You’ve brought a plague to my doorstep
diseased with your philosophies, slain
You've brought the power of corruption of an eclipse
Previous shine, no more
The changing seasons have come cursive
The fall of winter you've become
Tracing lines along the pages
Stored memories of your hold
Tracing, and erasing I’ll banish the creased fold
I stepped in the cold; I’ve stepped into you
