Milk and Snow

I wake up, tummy aching

Mommy please come over and feed me

I wish I could, but I can’t just stop and let you be

Cause right now I feel a fatigue and alone wouldn’t you agree

You are over there on the coffee table snorting those flakes

Not realizing I am over here helpless and awake

High as a kite, I scream in famishment with all my might

I am in this crib drowning in my own waters, where I can barely breathe

Red itchy circles surrounding all over my body

They blister, crack, and feel all so painful

You first take a glance, then ignore me

Do you hate me mommy?

Why are you neglecting me?

I promise I will be a good suckling

Does the misery give you a chuckling?

I am just responding to what my body needs, the nutrition drawing from thou chest

Put down the straw for my feed, and I will rest

But instead you focus more on the symmetry of those lines

As I lay here in my crib sucking on my digits

You’re knocked out prepping for your next hit

Tell me Mommy, do you plan on abandoning, neglecting, or abusing me

Place a child in a part of the world I should never see

If you didn’t want me why did you have me, all I am is the result of your bad choice

Pretending I’m not there as my diaper lays moist

More worried about buying the snow, and hoping to not develop a tolerate

While I’m all alone starting to dehydrate

But I still wait for when you open your eyes and realize I am the only high you ever need

Giving me the warmth, love, and my feed

Removing that white powdered mask

But until then, I still ask

Do you hate me mommy?

Do you love me at all?

I wake up, head aching

My poor baby crying in need of a feed

I wish I could, but I can’t have to go get my fix

Cause right now I feel fatigue and emotions are all mix

Setting up on the coffee table about to snuffle some blow

Noticing you are over there sorry for the show

You’re loud alright, but my euphoria just feels so right

Baby I just need to lay down on the couch to get full-body stimulation

Red burning marks surrounding my fingers and lips right now

They blister, crack, and feel all so tender

I take a glance now, and I see you

Mommy loves you baby

I don’t want to neglect you

I promise I will provide you nursing

Hearing your misery is my cursing

I am just responding to what my body craves, the addiction drawing from thy bag

Sweetie shush please stop crying, so I can drag

But instead you focus on me with those small innocent eyes

As I sit here on the couch starting up my hit

Pass out until the next lit

Listen baby, I don’t plan on abandoning, neglecting, or abusing you

Giving you everything in the world is long over due

You were the best choice I made and all that I have, despite the choices in the past

Pretending I’m a good mom and this won’t last

Can’t focus on providing you milk, and avoid the development of a with drawl

While you cry and I am alone about to fall

I now wait for when you open your eyes and realize I am the only one you ever need

Giving you the warmth, love, and fresh feed

Waiting until that very day

But until then, I will say

Mommy does not hate you

Mommy loves you
