Million Dollar Smile

Dear Jonathan

I miss you

Known you since I was a child

Every time I think about you

All I remember is that smile.

 A smile

That could make the angriest person feel happy

 A smile

That you kept on your face even when you're day was crappy

You were family to me

 And I'll never forget that

I moved for a few years and we lost touch

And I'll never get that time back

You were one of my first real friends

You always had my back

And I always had yours

Especially in class when you would slack

We met in fourth grade

The teacher told me to tutor you

And you were new to the class

So it took a little while for me to get used to you

The day I found out you lived down the street from my grandma's house

Was the beginning of many adventures

Hanging out all day would make my day

And yours

I'm not gonna say that you're gone

I'm just not gonna see you for a while

But one thing I'll never forget

Is that million dollar smile
