Mind 2

Isaiah 65:17

The Glorious New Creation

17 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.

Mind (phi)

The mind is an unusual treasure.

It will drive directives home.

It really never wants to settle

for it enjoys an endless roam.

It takes you places of artificial light

and to there where darkness rules.

It shows your wants that are out of sight,

where envy smiles and that is true.

It must be active in its search

and feeds on constant application.

It is lean and hungry, it can't be tamed,

As it swallows world's information.

Some minds are "great"? Some very "small"

from where  this strange conception?

How do some grow beyond their call

and why this extra found perception?

Does the collapse of values drive

the mind into degradation?

Were values from the start drive

toward slothfulness and stagnation?

Is the mind then spirit prone?

Or does it think it has the power

to dominate the fleshy clone

as it drowns in conceptional showers?

It will react to every touch

and everything in its path.

Dissect and cut truth as such

with no problem to justify that.

Mind! Where were you before I was born?

Why did you take my flesh as possession?

And why me … not some-one else forlorn.

for that’s possibly the great deception?
