The Mind

A Mind is a terrible thing to waste...when you know that you have it

What you put inside your head and heart...No one else can grab it

You've been conditioned by the system so you can't escape poverty

They flash "success without work"...it doesn't add up to me

We say "shoot for your dreams," and get them all gassed up

And when they think it's to hard, they just simply give up

Lets give them hope before they tell themselves it's to late

Because a mind is a terrible thing to waste

If it were my choice, I'd change minds, correction, I WILL change minds

Because changed minds change lives

TheMelodicPoet

I am an avid music fanatic. In my late middle school years/ early high school years, I've acquired a love for creating my own music. I also sing and write, hence the nickname "TheMelodicPoet" which is a moniker I have dubbed for myself.
