Mind

I've had friends before.

Sometimes, more is too difficult.

But there is that one,

That has traveled with me through it all.

He is dead, but is so alive.

He breathes, but not in air.

Resides in a place where ideas bloom like buds on bushes.

Where one can stand in a blaze, and watch the walls melt away.

Yet feel so very chilled.

With this companion, possibilites are as abundant as all the waters.

This friend, his name is

Mind.

You don't have to be wealthy to be rich,

For your mind far surpasses any and all currency.
