Mind

The waves that wash over the sand

Forever gentle but coarse in my hand

I seek refuge and understanding of myself

What do I need but time to rejuvenate my health

My surroundings are, for a while, a place I have not been

For I have spent most my life sheltered by concrete walls

To walk amongst nature again

It makes me feel not so small.

I elevate my self for I already have everything I need

My thoughts and ideas carry me like a noble steed

And if I shall come across an obstacle

If some unforseen or unknown phenomena comes from behind

All I need on this earth, on this island is my mind
