Mind

We all have desires and find ourselves attached to

people, objects, ideas...

But what allows us to make these choices, is what we sometimes

don't realize we need.

Our mind, our brain, without it we cannot function,

Nobody can escape the need for it,

science barely understands half of it.

We all have objects, ideas, and people we love,

they fill us with joy and happiness,

something we can't live without.

I need money on my deserted island,

you need people on your lonely island,

but the instrument that makes us all the same,

that we so essentially need,

is the brain.
