my stomach is turning
my heart is upside down
my lungs are collapsing
my mind is reciting over and over
“this isn’t right”

“what you’re doing is wrong”
but i can’t help but look at you
wondering
“can i be yours?”
“why am i not yours?”
“what could we be?”
stop!
my stomach is in knots
my heart is going to explode
my mind is lingering in and out in and out
i hate that i can’t control it
