Mind Creepers

Minds attacked
By things unseen
Lives are wrecked
When we think we’re clean

Clean from trouble
Being safe
Feeling humble
In devil’s place

His greatest weapon
Often unknown
It’s an unspoken
Better not to be shown

Demonic spirits
Dangerous mind creepers
Sing to us the lyrics
And turn into screamers

Minds uneasy
Shaken and confused
Drowned spiritually
From evil infused

Pressurized fuel from the fiery sea
Destroying our inmost being
While we still don’t see
The demons conquering

It invades our heart
The blood in our veins
Our actions now controlled
By the devils flames

Remembering old days
The only chance of renewal
There are no other ways
To desolate the devil’s fuel

The cure long found
The solution seems simple
Yet we struggle with doubt
That it's the way out

Driving out demons
The power within
Only through the Holy Spirit
We crush the devil’s sting

Holy Spirit embrace me
Courage entering my heart
Rebuke the evil in me
And grant me a new start

Devil you’re defeated
There is no other way
The cross - you’ve seen it
Will never go astray

If you come again
Try to enter my brain
My God will make you bend
‘Till you can no longer scream in pain

Jon Luke

My poems are written about the good, the bad, everything in between, mostly influenced by my life. If mountain high or valley low, there is always something that drives me, something that keeps me going. As you read my poems you will discover that they are all connected. I hope you will enjoy reading them.
