Mind Deep

I sit Toes buried in the sand My mind sails Body, anchored to land My minds yearning Manifest for me Mind deep In current, i see Gazing upon The lost piece of my soul I remembered what it was To have once been whole Briefly mimicked The ivory touch of your skin From the latent memories Forever encased within Holding tight To our fading embrace You looked into my eyes And wiped the tears from my face Postured and smiling Assuring me you're ok "I love you my Angel" Whispered as you fade away Remnants of happiness At fingertips reach Float translucent Away from the beach High tide My reality split Toes buried in the sand I sit
