In the mind of a High School Senior

Arguments come and go, but my attitude shall overflow.

The way I act and how I speak shall indicate the way I think.

Opportunities swing and miss, but solitude is harsh and crisp.

My eyes can imagine, My ears can know, that this journey unknown will help me grow.

I hug a cloud and dance around, while my dreams have turned to dust.

The future is nice, but unfortold. Applications, I now thrust.

Details sworm like a tornado inside my precious skull. She's seen the child so birght become dull.

She knows of her strengths, which she will permit to guide her and trust her, and train and equip,

the hearts that are weakened, the souls that are lit, with passion and purpose to never ever quit.

Special needs kids is her hearts' sweet desire.

Stagetime and acting put her heart on fire!

She loves little children who put on a show.

This will help many hearts to grow.

As the details work out, let her shine/glimmer.

Scholarships are coming, but let her heart simmer.

She latches on as motivation grows thicker.

Her heart is ready for college, so her dream can happen quicker! <3
