Mind matters ... contradiction

Mark 7:6

He said to them, “Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written:

This people honors me with their lips,
but their heart is far from me.

Mind matters … contradiction

I need time to prepare

To absorb things of the past

I search deep in the future

In the place I left behind

I recognize the snares

Those are approaching fast

As they’re of my own making

Produced in my very mind

Like ductwork in my house

My inside seems like fiber

That collects dust and moisture

The be formed into a cake

Offensive to friend and spouse

Almost like a viper

As my tongue relentlessly

Offends for “Heaven’s Sake”

Locked up for my own protection

In an armor made by God

Can’t move in any direction

You can believe it or not

Useless hanging around

Making clanging noises

Hanging from the inside out

Confused by most all voices
