Mind over matter

Knock, knock, knock

On the walls of my mind

 Feeling stuck; Lost in time

Thoughts are fueled by dark matters

Succumbing to madness, like that of a hatter

 Constant battle between voice's chatter

 Repeating, repeating; Mind over matter

Dreaming up plans for blood spatter

Forced to control self, contain the urge

 They whisper, mind over matter

Such is sure to be my downfall

 Details vaguely recalled

Feeding the beast, cause for enthrall

They beat me down; Refuse to crawl

 Persitance confuses

 Stand tall and brawl

 Last standing loses

Still, pride won't let me fall
