Mind over matter

This is not a traditional poem

though most things about me aren't traditional

It's safe to say that im ok with this

From my past life i saw an omen

That my future life would remain minimal

unless i went and sought out bliss

In order to do this

I had to open my minds eye, to peer deep into others inside

With a firm grip and clear sky, i was finally able to see what lied

Within every man, woman, child.

The desire, to fly higher
