Mind two

1 Peter 4:7

Service, Suffering, and Judgment

For the culmination of all things is near. So be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of prayer.

Mind two

Oh mind! Oh mind who are you? Are you mine indeed?

Why do you trigger actions or at least influence my greed?

Are you an interpreter of issues of the heart?

Are you a dominating factor that misleads me from the start?

It seems that interpretations have your one sided view

You are a child of depravity that my Lord foreknew

You were born speaking lies and truth you don’t comprehend

You deem yourself an expert better than foe or friend

You’re sitting on the sideline in the middle of the field

interfering with the game rules and you’ll seldom yield

You will make life a game as it fits in your control

for the reason of your existence as it seems your major role

You’ll never run out of scheming to be the center of attraction

Wherever there is unity you’ll proclaim your dissatisfaction

You’ll integrate all that is fair in your own point of view

You compromise life itself away and call that being renewed

Your self admiration has been your downfall from the start

Yes in the discourse of creation you played a major part
