Mind,Body,Soul
Dear Mind,
You are my greatest asset,
You cannot be duplicated.
You make me individual ,
You keep me educated.
Keep me grounded
keep me sane,
Help me love
Help numb the pain.
Always moving
And yet so still.
Always proving what I feel,
However crazy it may be
I am you and you are me.
Dear Body,
We've been together through it all
Growing pains to become tall.
My visual insecurity,
My obvious lack of purity,
Marks and lumps I carry around
Always screaming never making a sound.
Divert the eyes away from you
The message is not getting through.
I am ashamed but hope to be proud
Be able to look unto the crowd.
Without changing you one day I'll see
I am you and you are me.
Dear Soul,
You are Gold, eccentric.
You are Free, electric.
Embody Warm happiness
You are Moody, depressed.
You are Cold, harshness.
Embrace teen angst.
Grow everyday, no longer weak
Stay strong against the world so bleak.
Oh Trinity how I love and hate
The way you me debate
Myself to which I must be true
You are me and I am You.
