Mindful thoughts

Speaking one's mind can be compared to the wind blowing away.

If we spoke our minds, we would be judged anyway.

Everyone can feel it but do they  understand?

The words fall out but we would rather keep it in our hand.

Scared to be judged by society, it's like a no-man's land.

So why, why do we speak our minds if we are criticized?

My reason is not to obtain a prize, but to make others realize.

It's fine to shout and whine or make a fool of yourself

But remember why you are speaking and leave your pride on the shelf.
