Mindfulness is Love

Glitter jars to shake up when you're feeling down

Artificial dogs to hug tight if your teacher sees you frown

A quiet, safe place to soothe your dark thoughts

Why are so many youngsters disturbed and distraught?

Yoga classes and classical music before school

Teachers and administrators desperate to find the right "tool."

Ridiculous assessments, expectations, and tests

No wonder these kids are anxious and stressed.

Children don't need fidget spinners, screen time, or flexible seating

Instead, try hugs, time to play, and a human heart beating.

Just like doctors have not yet discovered a cure for cancer

Teachers proclaim that even the best textbooks do not contain the answer.

Spend quality time with children and teach them wrong from right-

Discipline, consistency, communicate with them day and night.

Adults who practice mindfulness on a regular basis

Will perpetuate love and eradicate all those sad faces.
