MindGames
I will miss this place.
I wil miss this feeling.
What I feel when I write is far too appealing
It smells like freedom and tastes like victory
but then I look up and see I am caged in
fenced in
I'm in a beautiful place
but it's dangerous
because when I'm alone with my thoughts
I'm engaged in
my own self-consciousness.
I always seek time alone
because I rather fall undone
by myself and at home
than with someone who has the potential to condemn my soul
I want to meet someone like myself,
with quirks and depth
in which I can lose myself.
I too want to be asked
what I do in my spare time.
I want someone to wonder what I think about late at night
I too want to matter.
I want to cross someone's mind
but maybe i need to get lost in my own quirks
before someone else can find
them
confide
is something ill need to master
I need to lower my guard
if I want to succeed faster
I intimidate feeble minds
but maybe you're right
and my biggest fear is to become one
for someone
with a mind like mine.
