The Mindless Wanderer

Nonsense intrigued by a disguised path near

Clematis and buttercups shadow the ground

Their sweet poison makes heartache disappear

One Innocent bite makes life come unwound

And sends toxic showers from above but

Nonsense plucks each flower to show true love

Nonsense freely endures the endless walk

Love claims to wait there on the other side

Though separated by one lethal lock

Never to be opened because love died

The noxious flowers knew all along but

Nonsense filled my new heart and sewed it shut
