Mind/Matter

the body knows more than the mind. i guess that's why, when you kissed my lips, or grazed my neck, or played with my hair, your touch sent shivers and an electric thrill through my veins. i thought it as love and the like, but i think my body was trying to warn me of the danger your touch held. the shivers were mixed with intimacy, but they were shivers of fear, and that electricity was trying to foreshadow the way i'd go brain dead, when you decided to leave.
