But Mine

I’ll take the arrows from my back and shoot them at the stars

I need more time to focus on my heart

I have to focus on me and not where they are

I need to follow myself home

Wherever that may be

I need my rest and I need my sleep

The snow will lay on me

Please don’t move too much

I’ll pretend to not care and such

I’ll never be good enough

The world is too tough

I’m tired and my hands are rough

It’s winter and I’ve fallen back again

But I never got up to begin with

I’ll always be fine

I’m living everyone’s life but mine
