Minus the filters

I was in love with filters.

I mean why not?

Being able to have my impurities

Removed, what is there not to like?

Filters enchance my beauty

I would tell myself.

Not knowing that the filters were

Like a film over the sun, I am

So bright and beautiful.

Without filters I am bolder!

In my most purest form, I am innocent;

I am full of imperfections and many insecurities.

Minus the filters, I am perfectly imperfect.

I am honest.

I am caring.

I am a giver.

I am love.

I am confident.

Minus the filters, I am a SINNER saved by GRACE.
