A minute

My hands are huge makes it so much easier for a slap to sting when It covers the whole face My voice is loud Can't whisper for shit, but What I have to say is heard loud and clear as it booms and echoes My face is expressive At times I don't need speech to convey the way I feel. You can see it in my face, you can see it in my eyes even . how they narrow and squint, widen and rapidly blink , dart to the side And quite frequently roll If looks could kill My lips contort and twist just like my forehead a word is not uttered but you can hear me say “IS this bitch dumb?” “shut the entire fuck up.” “are you deadass?” “lol you're not funny, but I need the psych hw” My arms are strong They lift me up and out of bed almost everyday And I'm thankful for the days that they don't They extend out to loved ones in good times and bad times and times in general They let me do push ups and heavy lifting and most importantly throw a mean hook and a killer cross My expression of self is whatever I want it to be I can dress however I want I can wear polka dots with stripes I can wear bright colours I can wear dark colours I can wear socks with sandals ( I wouldn't tho, thats so nasty) I can be cassandra the cunt Beth the bisexual bitch Negative nancy Sensitive sybil Chatty cathy Memuna the monster All at the same time if I want to My mind is where my best ideas originate from I think every hour of the day every minute of every hour every second of every minute My mind is not indestructible but it is resilient And definitely powerful My name is six words long and I love saying it so here goes. Memuna Adunni Ibeshomi Ashabi Yoyinsola Epemolu. I didn't glow up It just took me a minute to love myself
