The Miracle of Love

Sometimes

You give all you have to be with someone

And they don't care

Sometimes

You pour out your heart and soul to someone

And they laugh at you

Sometimes

You love someone

And tell them

And they turn away

Sometimes

In life, we make mistakes

We love those who can't love us back

Sometimes,

We take the chance

Of being rejected

Of being broken

Of being laughed at

And tell someone we love them

Sometimes,

They say they love us back

Sometimes

Someone who was a stranger

Becomes your whole life

Because they had the courage

To say

I love you

Sometimes

There are people who hide in the shadows

People we never notice

But they notice us

And they take the chance

And say

And sometimes

Someone returns that love

Sometimes

There are miracles

And love

And love fixes broken hearts

And love strengthens trust

And love lets us live fully

And if someone loves us,

We can find the courage to love back
