Mirror

When I look at my reflection,

What do I see?

I see a young girl whose confident and strong,

yet guarded and reserved.

I see a young woman who is beautiful and witty,

yet insecure and scared.

I see a young woman who is not afraid to love,

but not easily fooled by the words of a man.

I see a young woman who dreams bigger than life,

but is not blind to reality.

I see a young woman who is not afraid to fall,

and will fall again.

Because I must fall in order to achieve,

but that does not frighten me from my dreams.

I see a young woman who never gives up,

no matter how hard life gets.

When I look at my reflection,

What do I see?

I see my reflectoin staring back at me.
