I walk through the hall and stop,
Who is the person staring at me?
Shocked, I wonder if this can be true,
This girl has changed, her face aged.
Where has the carelessness gone?
Are the signs of age painted upon her face permenant?
No longer does a young child stare back at me,
her face has been changed into that of a woman.
She knows not everything,
but she knows of hardship.
The hard times like water for her seed,
which has made it grow into a mature plant.
The mirror does not decive her,
it shows her truth,
it shows her readiness,
it shows her... Her.
