Mirror

Anger, Hate, Passion

As I look in the mirror

Nothing comes to mind but

Anger, Hate, Passion

Presure, Pain, Sorrow

Refusal to let the past go,

In a place where the past

Is all you can hold onto

Pressure, Pain, Sorrow

Hope, Desire, Doubt

You know it needs to change

Theirs nothing you can do

Just close your eyes and pray to the Lord above

Pray, pray for all you have is

Hope, Desire, Doubt

Redemtion, Clearity, Nirvana

You know the mirror needs to change

You cannot live your life this way

Praying to never open your eyes again is no way to live

So you wake up the next morning

Look in the mirror

And know what has to change

The man looking back at you

Redemtion, Clearity, Nirvana

This is the life as a cadet in a military college.  Life is full of pain and sorrow, let downs and disapointment, and one has to learn to pick himself back up and live life to the fullest, no matter their circumstances.  Looking in the mirror is the first step, not just a cadet, but for anyone.  This is the only road to mental clearity.
