Mirror of an Aged Soul

I look at myself

And see the truth

The young, the old

Though the past remains aloof

The scars they surface

Aging with lines of old

Seeing them there reminds me of a time

When I too was bold

Thou that stares back

Is all but a stranger

In my old reflection

I see nothing but a changer

Now I see one who has changed

With scars that are old

And lines of age

Holding memories untold
