Mirror Image
In her, a mirror image of me, I do see,
As I sit under the golden hues of my apple tree.
Don't we seldom wonder, when we hear someone grumble,
I know I have been there I can feel the rumble.
In each one we see a part of ourselves,
To do this though we need to inside delve.
Doesn't another's complaint seem so very familiar,
Its because many a time we have the same behaviour.
Always to see anothers fault is so simple,
Perhaps its time we made ourselves more nimble.
High time we try, better to understand,
And stop thinking we are ever so grand.
All faults we too have,
But our conscience, we try to salve.
No harm in admitting,
Hence we stop permitting.
The first given chance to look down upon all,
And to stop seeing others as meek and small.
Learning to accept another isn't so tough,
Its in the mind that we find it it all so rough.
One step at a time we shall move ahead,
Sadly to realize many we have misread.
Each one of us is filled with flaws,
And change is constant so says the law.
Our universe, always accepts imperfection,
With the least effort and so much affection.
Can't we too give a fraction of this,
To accept, all as they are, and create some bliss.
