Mirror, Mirror on the Wall....
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who's that pasty person looking at the soccer ball?
Why it looks like me,
yet with lighter lashes,
imperfect skin,
full of dashes.
Nose very long,
take a look at me,
everything looks wrong!
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who's the girl who feels the ugliest of them all?
Why, it's me,
A false confidence on the outside,
ashamed on the inside.
But why?
For society says
I need to be perfect.
Big boobs,
no stomach,
legs like long tubes.
So when I look at me,
what do I see?
A most imperfect version of me.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
take my make up off,
go ahead because I'll stand tall.
There's a voice telling me I'm not good enough,
but a strronger voice saying that I've got the stuff.
So, mirror, mirror on the wall,
take a good look at me,
because I've got it all.
