The Mirrored Image

Location

We often fear that of which we do not know or what we do not understand.

We hate what we see and what we cannot.

We become angry and fixated on the flaws of the universe and ourself.

We are cruel to our own mind and body at times, but for what?

For what reason do we have to diminish what we have been blessed with?

Why do we layer color upon our pictures and crop out the features we see as abnormal?

The most authentic you that you can possibly be is already who you are right now.

Our true self behind the makeup, behind the sarcastic remarks of our flaws and the filters is someone who is strong, and breathtakingly beautiful.

We are human and we are imperfect beings.

And through all of the mirrored images we come across of ourselves we must remember that we are just that, beautiful.
