Mirrors

I see a mirror

Reflecting, reflecting

A person that looks like me

Moves like me, acts like me

I see people

Reacting, reacting

To the shadow called me

Condemning and apprising

I see shadows

Moving, moving

Just like me

Being judged for their shadows

I see a world

Blinded, blinded

By self-righteousness

And ignorance

Will I ever see

A time? A time

When people stop

Judging the shadow

Will I ever see

A society? A society

That accepts

The true me and the true you
