Mirrors are Beautiful

Mirrors are beautiful when you

stand in front of it.

The curve of your hips meet

your chest, and you rise

and fall like the Ottoman Empire.

Your body is strong like the soldiers

that fought for their lives.

And you, you are standing

in front of a mirror.

You reflect the fire that burns.

You reflect the strength.

And despite your falls,

you remain.

You make mirrors beautiful.
