"Misconceptions"

what leaves one blind Is often the misinterpretation of the naked eye Sending pictures to the brain with captions that lie Is the very organ we constantly fail to control and keep in line Running rapid, with deception at it's side Ironically, is what we close to dream, but also open to keep our dreams alive What is real is what one sees from the start What one in-visions is true But the message transferred can be blurry, unclear, or unwittingly miscontrue And that can be blamed on the desires of the heart Because the heart is a smooth talker It has the ability to persuade And as the brain and heart proceed to barter Common sense slowly start to fade All warnings that are usually sent from above seem to become deeply locked away As the heart makes a metamorphisis from That ignored wordsmith to a temporary replica of the human brain With emotions there are often many little problems, within big problems because when it rains it pours This confusion is where feelings strive In order to take control and re-tune yours You must start at the biggest misconception of them all ... your eyes Beauty has the gift of gravitation easily making you feel drawn Where is most make their initial mistake The more they try and push away the harder they return like a see-saw Causing the heartaches A seemingly everlasting adorn is created You feel like you can't break it Some say that's the worst feeling and it sucks to face it And you shouldn't prey upon your face-down cards just play the ones that you're facing But honestly i'd rather have no chance at receiving the correct message from my eyes and still chase it Then to lose my faith and build up this beautiful heart i possess just to waste it It must depend on ones personal preference You can live never attempting The possibilities meant to be pursued by human intentions OR you can follow in the direction of my footsteps and live to find the love you've been dreaming of in one of these "misconceptions"
