Misconceptions

Eyeballs were melting

Glued to my shoes

Only time I looked up is when I fell back

Booze

Pool of liquor

Psychedelic sticker

The trip is longer

Often fall much quicker

Cigarettes until the mucus gets thicker

Try to be productive, a list of things to do

OK I finished it only one tick the clock has moved

Walk outside

Acidic clouds above my head

Not sure whether I have or need to go to bed

My thinking process rises faster than a trend

Speaking on it leads to unbalanced words

Dreams rolling off the curb

Crushed

Replacing dreams with pills then my face is red blush

Couldn’t toss this, telling myself it’s part of the creative process

A path, I knew I would cross it

Crucified to the idea of needing

Needing the success

Overwhelmed stampedes trampling me to death

Take a breath, the best I can

My name and writings made it successfully

Overdosing wasn’t part of the plan
