Misdirection

Misdirection

is life that has

zero purpose.

It drives my work,

leads to success.

Without reason,

what am I able

to accomplish?

Maybe something?

Oh no, nothing.

Purpose guides me

as a railroad

track guides a train.

Without the rails,

it's disaster.

Helping others.

Motivation

allows me to do

good things for them.

They need my best.

Purpose is glue.

It keeps my goals

and my actions

aligned and straight.

It helps me focus.

It helps me rise

in the morning

and fall into

peaceful slumber

at the day's end.
