misery

Misery

Come to my parade of misery, dear ones.
Leave happiness in your Sunday clothes.
The cries of inauspicious birds
Can never warn you enough to stay away
But you will fly to me and understand.

Why do I love the sadness?
Only because before I felt it
I lived it without crying out.
Now I speak it in the dead darkness
To every friend and stranger.
