Misery

I don't feel like I'm okay
I'm not okay
I'm hurt
This is the price of everyday living
I don't feel anything except the hollowed out space where my insides used to be
You took myself away from me
You left me with nothing except thoughts that won't stop
and a heart that died with your goodbye
Goodbye hope
Goodbye salvation
Goodbye life
Hello death
Hello suffering
Hello misery
It's been a while since you've truly seen me
