Misfits

We've been used,

Abused,

Shot down in vain by the worst marksman in the game.

Abuse was our bane,

We were like slaves,

Contained,

Couldn't feel anything but pain,

Not even the blood coursing through our own veins,

Our own blood stains our history.

It's no mystery why we have congregated here,

An isolated island where no one is the same,

and there is nothing to fear.

Together we forget our pain,

Lose the memories of abuse and allow the stains in our history to fade,

We can only trust each other,

Finally, we are at the mercy of our own blades.

We chose our fate,

We can skate by with nothing on our plate,

because we were chosen by fate to be together,

and nothing can equate.
